Reaching out and reaching up and encounter with Rafael from Ace of Fades

On Friday, our team had the privilege of participating in an outreach event that brought us face-to-face with individuals from our community. It was a day filled with meaningful conversations, newfound connections, and a sense of purpose. Once such encounters stood out to me, our meeting with Rafael from Ace of Fades. The power of prayer, as we spent time with Rafael, we discovered that his faith is an integral part of his life. We had the opportunity to engage in a rich discussion about his beliefs and values, which was deeply enriching for all. But what made this encounter truly special was when we were able to pray for his business. It was a powerful reminder of the impact that prayer can have on our lives and the lives of those around us. Reaching out, while our meeting with Rafael was incredibly rewarding, it also left me wondering, how can we continue to reach out to others in our community? How can we build upon this initial connection and foster deeper relationships? These are questions that I believe each of us must grapple with as we seek to serve others, praying for the community. In light of our successful outreach event, I want to propose a challenge. Let's see if we can take what we learned from Rafael's story and apply it to those in our communities, who knows who might be seeking prayer or salvation, who might benefit from a listening ear or a helping hand. As we seek to serve others, let us not forget the power of prayer.
